We had a great experience with them. It's when someone has to deal with problems that you see how much they really care. After installation of a new windshield, it made too much noise while driving. We took it back and they gave us great customer service and listened to our concerns. They completely redid the job at no cost after finding the leak, and even gave me a ride home because it would take several hours before ready. Fred Baca was very friendly and genuinely concerned about our satisfaction with their work. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone. ~ Rikki H
On Friday after Thanksgiving, new to El Paso, I made a cold call based on Google search, and got Bob on the phone. Three times, as I was unsure of my car's model. Bob was also engaged by my Insurer and got me all set up for the following Monday. On Monday, met Fred at the 811 Southwestern facility, who had all the paperwork ready for my signature. He thought I was just dropping the car off, but I wanted to wait for it. He made the arrangements so it would be worked on immediately. A young man named Adam did the window replacement. I watched, and was impressed by his deliberate and focused approach to his work as he prepped the car and made the replacement. A very pleasant experience, due to the professionalism, friendliness, and focus on customer and job. I mentioned the names of the staff so that they might get appropriate recognition. ~ Heinz M
I originally booked an appt. with the large national company that starts with an "S" and ends in an "E", but cancelled that appt. after finding out the price quoted ballooned to almost $400 by the time they added everything in! Southwest Auto Glass did the whole windshield replacement for $305.68 everything included! I did bring the car to them instead of them coming to me, but the service was top notch and the finished product is just like the original. They also did it on a moments notice! Thank you! ~ J. J

How do I know if a rock chip repair can be accomplished or if I need a new windshield?
Not every rock chip or cracked windshield can be repaired. A variety of factors influence your options including length of any cracks, how deep the crack is and if it the windshield contains electronics.
Q. How Long Does It Take To Have The Windshield Replaced?
It takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes to replace the broken windshield or damaged auto glass. We recommend that the vehicle isn’t driven for at least 1 hour after installation to ensure the urethane (glue) has had enough time to dry.
